Transient Feralism Ideologies are the general class of ideologies which reject the Affini Compact's call for universal domestication of all sophonts. In humans, this is generally referred to as Free Terranism. Those who follow this ideology are referred to as Free Terrans or Free Terranists. They're really just making things more difficult for themselves by fighting when they could be snugly in an affini's arms instead!
The planet Duri (from A Normal Grocery Run During Which No Domestication Occurs) was known for having its own brand of nationalism that lead to its feralism being centered around the Durian identity rather than a Terran one.
Feralism - the ideology of opposition to the domestication of xenosophonts
Feralist - someone who believes in feralism
Free Terranists - terrans who believe in freedom from affini occupation
Terran Separatists. Fuck. At best, they believed that Terrans should be given room to develop for themselves, with the least possible Affini intervention. Humanity should be given every chance to flourish for itself, so long as it wasn’t going to put others at harm. And if that were all it was, it wouldn’t be so bad.
In reality though, from what Petal had seen on the overnet, most of them were just Free Terranists who’d realised that calling themselves that put them on the fast track to domestication. Like the Affini would care whether or not they actually called themselves Free Terranists.

Among Terran Feralist circles, several myths about both the physical nature of, and the ideological goals of individual affini & the Affini Compact persist, despite frequent educational broadcasts informing them that they are, in fact, myths.
